Default my motor is disassebled few questions..

Motor is out and bare.. wow its crazy how that whole like 2 inch half of on bottom of motor is the main caps far crank as well..

just curious since i am completly done with balance shafts what can all be removed from inside the engine...

i am ordering a new crank and also need a underdrive pully since i fucked mine all up!

what underdrive pully do i buy stock.. or a aftermarket 1 i was told stick with stock... also

ill buy the stock crank off modern performance for 160 unless somone knows if all i gatta get is a certain crank for it to be a stroker? or how does that work....

also where can i order my rod and main bearings and what name brand i wanna rev too 7500?

thanks hope to see feedback soon

Stock main pulley is the one to stick with but if you want to go aftermarket like I plan to, I would go with the ATI main pulley. Its the only one that offers the same charactristics as the stock one but with High performance in mind.

ATI 917469 - JEGS

PTP sells Clevite Tri-metal H-series Rod and main bearings (I have a brand new spare set of both I can sell you cheaper, I happen to have them extra).

PT-Performance.com

also if you plan to rev to 7500rpm I would get a strap kit from one of the vendors on here, for the added insurance, if you don't already have one.

The strap kit is Billet pieces of metal that are machined to fit in the main bearing girdle, with girdle machining as well. Strengthens the support for the crank. Very good idea if your going to be revving higher than stock redline and expecially if your going to rev to 7500rpm. DCR sells a kit that is very good.

Darrell Cox Racing - Crank Strap Kit (Powered by CubeCart)

I'm sure other vendors offer the strap kit, I just haven't seen it on any of their sites.

Use the modern performance rod and main bearings then get them coated by modern performance. They use calico coating. It is the best and cheaper then dcr.

I used crower rods to be safe but eagles should be ok.

I agree with^. If you have the money get the crank straps. You can spray nitrous later on without crank walk.

I would get DCR head bolts and ARP cam tower bolts (If you get the DCR crank straps you don't need cam tower bolts)and ARP main studs.

PTP sells a tri-metal design and with the added rpm it would be a good idea to go with a high quality main bearing. Your talking about one of the most important bearings to your engine. Plus the main bearings from ptp are already calico coated as well.

well.. i never could find the site for darrel cox racing and now i have it and love it... first off tho which kinda sucks but good also cause i have to work for what i want.. but i am not ganna be able to afford the crank straps this year.. so maybe over winter... anyways as of now im ganna work a deal out with mathew00029 to get them rod and main bearings and then looks like imma need to find me a new underdrive pully... which 409 bucks for the ati is prob. out of my price range right now... so looking for a stocker... i appriciate all the help..

also when puting my motor back together will the machine shop know too put rubber sealant all over main bearing girdle... or is there a gasket kit i should buy for putting motor back together for new water pump seal and all that?

should i also just buy the stock crank from modern performanc as well? thanks every1

send the ecu to forward motion for there b&g reflash, it'll take it up to 7000, if your going to be revving to 7500 you should get EMS and crank straps

The AEM EMS is good and there is also another option called SCT

Have you tried using the search tool? It'll help you get your answers a lot faster!
