hey guys im currently in the process of gathering up parts for my new big bore low compression build. I already have the rods that i want in mind (eagle due to weight) and was wondering what manufacture and vendor you guys think offers the best piston design??
I plan on running big boost with 94 and meth and more timing then i run now (28deg @25psi) It would be nice if i could grab whole kit from a vendor. I have emailed 3 vendors and so far no reply back and its been over a week ![]() Thanks boys

what fuel are you running?
i'm very happy with 8.8:1 and e85

im looking to do the same piston. Just worried about winter and running 93 SCH-I510 using AutoGuide.C

lots of opinions on this topic..
personally i go with the math (just a few builds under my belt ) search the build section for 8.8:1 e85 s3+ builds.. lots of happy customers it all comes down to how much air and fuel/octane and temperature of the combustion Chambers .. spend some time searching around What You Need to Know About E85 Ethanol Alternative Fuel - Hot Rod Magazine im looking to do the same piston. do you plan on running 60psi of boost ??? if your running meth and 94 i would suggest at least 9.0:1 comp what turbo r u gong to be running, manifolds, cams,ported head?
not to mention you can only add in so much timing befor you get no gains from it and at 28*is about where im at on stock comp and e85 before the built block im currently in the processes of building a 10.0:1 comp 30+psi of boost monster that will eat e85

I've ran 27psi on 91oct and 1 m5 nozzle 50%meth/50%water on a 58mm turbo. And any reason 7".2" vs that of 7.0 or 7.5? lol

is it knock or preignition? im running an m10 nozzle spraying 80% meth... thats alot of meth.

There is no reason to go that low in compression, have a good tuner tune the car and won't have issues.
