Default Just installed the 62mm TB..Car is acting weird!!!!!!

okay fellas..I just intalled this thing. It took me about 2 hours. Once I cranked it up...idle rpms was much higher...i was around 1500 rpms idle. The throttle response is touchy..and when i take my foot off the gas...my car just keeps going..like the throttle is stuck or something. When i came to a red light..my car rev up and revved down, revd up and revd down..has anyone else been having these issues? I'm running GT30 right now

check your tps wiring to see if you fucked a wire or something... if you don't find anything you have a nice vaccum leak.

Did you install the gasket for the tb properly? Is is bolted on tightly? Check the hoses going to the tb..... pretty much anywhere around there that has a seal. Quickest way to check is spray some carburator cleaner around the area (or you can use propane) and if the car hesitates or almost dies.... you have found your leak.

You might have a leak, but I'm guessing the car just has to learn the new TB.

If you checked and don't have any boost leaks than try resetting your PCM by disconnecting the ground on the battery for 15seconds than reconnect. Go drive around and give your computer time to learn your driving habits and the tb install.
