Default Intercooler question

Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me out. I've done some searching but came up with nothing so now I'm posting.

I've recently aquired a free SRT4 intercooler and I was wondering how effecient they are? What's the highest boost you guys are running at with the stock intercooler? Is it a decent intercooler or do you guys just toss them and throw in a bigger one? I'm using a t3/t04e 60trim .63a/r turbo, at around 10psi temperarly, then go big later on, but once I go big I'll be getting a bigger intercooler. Thanks.

i think i heard it supports 300-320whp efficently, but you'd probably want a thicker core and larger diameter for an aftermarket turbo setup such as a big trim as yours

The stocker is being used with cars running 360HP with intercooler sprayers. its not a bad intercooler, but there are many more efficient ones on the market.

Another thing is I don't know how your going to get that to work on your 300ZX, probably more time and effort than its worth.

I can get pretty much anything to fit in and The intercooler is perfect size for a lot of air flow through my bumper. Yeah, I'm thinking this intercooler is way too small for my setup and I shouldn't even bother with it and run it w/o an intercooler until I can get a proper sized one. I MIGHT try it but nothing's for sure. I'd like to research it a little more also.
