What was the point of this post???

I'll be heading out in acouple of weeks. I'm waiting untill i get a wot box. Like you said srt4me i'm falling out of boost everytime I shift. I'm gonna compare my logs with, and without the box and see the difference. I can't wait I was pretty good at no lift shifts so with the box I can only get better right?

Your only gonna have like ~2000rpms or so of full boost and even with WOT shifting at 6100rpms you will fall back out of boost at the very, very least you need the ability to shift AT 6500rpms Either way tear it up crank it up to 30psi

On a .63 ar it might not be that bad, but on a .82 it would be pointless

I have a GT35R with a .63 A/R on bone stock motor. The lag isn't THAT bad but I hit full spool at 4200RPM. The only thing is I have AEM and my redline at 6500. Even if I shift around 6100ish it doesn't fall outta boost at all. So IMO it's not pointless it's just a lil laggy.

1-2 shift at the track it wil fall out cause its a 2300rpm fall off on the 1-2 shift unless you have a higher rev. limit like i said

sounds promising ... I wouldn't mind the lag at all

I posted in AGP's section just to see, but I wanted to swap over my t04s compressor housing off my 60 trim onto the hp61 & they said I'd need a new housing (LOL, obviously) and a backplate ... which would involve complete disassembly and reassembly (pretty much a rebuild) ... now I don't understand why I couldn't just throw the t04s housing on there, unless the t04e housing is machined to fit the hp61 wheel, then it makes no sense ... the backplates for the t04e & t04s aren't compatible?

I orginally ordered a 35r t04e just to be different and see what it was like. I never put it on but sent it back to Garrett. They said all they did was swap the compressor housing from t04e to the t04s. So I'm pretty sure you can just swap housings.

EDIT: I just re-read the post and what I said has pretty much no bearing on this topic.

jesus, if it's machined then my car might be down for a couple weeks while I wait for my 60 trim to get rebuilt ... the hp61 has a 3" inlet & 2" outlet (t04e) ... my t04s has a 4" inlet for my 4" intake & a 2.5" outlet for my 2.5" coupler on my discharge pipe

I don't feel like getting a 3" intake or putting a screen on the turbo & I don't feel like getting a 2.5" to 2" coupler for the discharge pipe ... sigh

my built 2.4 8.5 compression with crane 14s doesnt full spool till 4k, 4100 in a .63. but revs to 7500 so its worth it. a stock rev limit or even 6500 is still pretty useless. you'll go faster on a 50trim.
