Default Has anyone dented or hacked their firewall?

finally got the manifold done but im having some clerance issues
i might need to hack or dent up the firewall(any ideas?)

That is not the firewall. All you need to do is to make a box on the upper cowl.

Cut the two sides and the support in the middle on the top.... then move it back and box it in. If you do not rebox this area, your cowl will melt due to the heat from the manifold.

I'll try and find pictures for you of the cuts you need to make. We do this to many SRT-4's.

thats what im talking about -thats exactly what i want to do just not sure how heh do you cut the wiper support also?

I had to do this 3 years ago, but what I did consisted of using a hammer. I've had to do it a few times throughout different setups. Every time I've had to do it was because my turbo was big enough to actually contact, not because my manifold was poorly thought out.
