whats up, i have the 16g turbo set up . and i need more boost for my tune since iam only at 16 punds with the kinetic wastegate the 16g turbo caME WITH .. i said hans MAKES a 26 psi wastgate thats for the 16g and 20g.. how did u order that and how much.. or is there any other wastegate with a better boost level that fits on 16g.. help asap... i need this wastegate so i can retune my car for over 18 pounds..

i called em and i think the turbo builder didnt want to help me out .. he said the wastegate i have on the 16g the stock on is good for over 18 pounds.. bullshit i suppose sine iam only at 16 pounds and iam maxed out on wastgate.. so DO u guys no the exact name for the wasegate so i can give him a idea of what wastegate it is that i need .. for my 16 g iam looking for at least a 18 pound hold... or 17 .. i hold 14 at redline
who ever told you that doesn't know what they are talking about . the stock wga that the kits come with allow you to boost 24+psi. Mopar_man ran his like this for over 6 months without any issues. you just need a bc to turn the boost up

When I ordered my 20G I was given the option of 2 wga's...one with a 10lb spring and one with a 16lb spring, which is the one I got. You probly have the 10 pounder, which should still do 20+ lbs with a decent boost controller like Mike said. I wouldn't buy another wga until you get something to turn up the boost.

yea thats what i will do. get a boost controller and see what happens. what kind should i use the manual or elctronic, iam want to use the maual one i dont want to fuck with electronics anymore LOL ..... i will need it for like 3 more pounds .
Hey guys im looking intot he hahn's 20g kit in the next year and trying to do some research on it. i have stage 2 w/out toys, msd coilpack and wires, 3" custom exhaust back to a tilted muffler, ngk stage 2 colder plugs, sri, agp wastegate, greddy bfmi, agp hot side pipe and coldside and a few others a can't think of at the moment. i want to get the port fueler and the 20g kit. i have heard bad things about stage2 and this kit. What am i looking at?
Anyone buy the 16g and send it to hahn to be upgraded to the 20g specs?
I have a buddy of mine here in town that is ported e/m, i/m, turbo, t/b, spacer, cams and gears, tuned w/ safc-2 and I'll be damned if he can't hang with me. I mean it's almost dead even everytime we race, I even have w/m. I tried everything I know to do, boost leak test, tune, etc. but this turbo just doesn't have it.
How much hassle is it to have the 16g converted to the 20g?

my 02 housing fell off my car last night (yes, while driving)...
had to limp my car w/the 02 housing about 4" away from teh hot side of the turbo (yes, sounded sick, wideband reading 21.0 @ idle and cruise, hehe)
limped to the bolt/nut store... guess what... those fukkers moved...
well.... i keep a wire hanger on the floor of my backseat.. so i pulled up the 02 housing (which was a bitch.. the only other place the exhaust is "hung" is behind the rear axle) using the hanger and ended up tying it up w/the hanger for about 1/2 mile drive to the bolt/nut store's new location...
got there got some new lock washers n nuts (M10x1.5 if you need a reference) and burned a hole through my mechanix gloves (and my finger) while installing new lockwashers n nuts...
gunna v-band that fukker this weekend (if time/money permits)..
im gunna be buying a "donut" to get a tight radius 3" for the initial turndown off teh turbo.....
this will be uberexensive (upwards of $180) and i can make 4 using 1 donut..
if anyone is interested, i'll be willing to sell the other 90's of tight radius 3" so you can fab up a 3" 02 housing or go v-band properly.....
v-band and i'll have no more issues.....

not me but previous owner(friend) dynoed 402hp with around 25psi n racing fuel his sucky best was 12.5 he says. thats with 682 from stg2, n meth inj. no portfueler.

prolly runnin lean than a mofo........ imo.....
w/stage 1 (or stock 04+ injectors), you're pushin it at 5500 rpms around 15.5-16psi
stage 2 injectors are prolly 85% duty cycle @ 5500 rpms around 22psi(ish) (yes no math done to back this statement up)...

i ran the port fueler and the stage two , stage two runs rich, the port fueler has an inability to retard timing. i am now runing ems but stage two fuel injectors should be able to do 520 hp"at the crank" at 11.5 afr that equals 675.7 cc/min 62.4 #hr at 85% safty that = 442 crank hp and if you take away for drive line components that should leave you 350-370 hp max
the port fueler i had came with accell injectors and had resalution up to 26 psi
it is a very good system and very easy to tune with a lap top this with the stock injectors should support 700+ if suported "its not gona happen without about 100 grand" the only draw back to staged injectors is you must clamp the map sensor at a psi and you computer will not retard timing for more boost "never seen a problem but its a posibility"

As far as I know there are only the low and high boost actuators for the 20g kit.
What I want to know is who is spraying with the 20g setup and high boost? I am debating water/meth injection, cams and 3" 02 vs a 35-50 shot. With the w/i I can run high boost all the time without race fuel but I dont see which cams would be worth it after buying springs etc. With the n20 I dont see why a 10 second pass on slicks isnt possible. Any one with the 20g setup have any thoughts?

a 10 second pass with a 3200# car will require 630+ hp
2000# car will need 400hp and a 10in slick
go with the w/m for safty that will alow you to tune for 12.5afr that will be much more power than a 50 shot and will help prevent detonation
