How much did the upgraded WGA from Hahn cost (the one that runs 26 psi)?
Thanks!
Naa the one that comes with the kit hits 26 (Max) the new one that comes apart (springs interchangeable, able to shim ect) will run deep 30 PSI *around 38* and I was quoted $175....Also peeps ask about the 25G if your going new Hahn Turbo...spools almost the same as the 20 (same housing) T6 Badass 600WHP FTW
25g holy shift that is a massive turbo hmmmm that maybe my next project.
srtbtu, I may be making a trip to the ATL to check out the scene here in the future.
what is the max psi the 20g can handle??
Yeah come on up lemme know...the 20G can be pushed about that far, 38psi..topping out at between 470-490WHP (rated for 500WHP)..The 25G would be my purchase if I was going new it's gonna be about 1,800 and change shipped to your door..they also have a conversion for the 20G owners to upgrade to 25G, might look into that, that will run about 1,100.
Maybe we can get a 16g/20g meet. I'm on leave in Augusta, Ga for the rest of the month. When I'm not on leave I'm usually around Nashville.
Oh yeah...my WGA can ranges from 9-12psi. That is the most I've been able to get out it. I used a manual boost controller that allow me to raise the boost, however when I use it now things just hit the fan. No matter how much I adjust it I would spike at 24psi and immediately drop back down to zero. After messing with it for 20 minutes I just took the Turbo XS MBC off.

Use the WGA as the boost controller. If you want to spool it faster using the WGA as the BC. Set your WGA to the boost you want it. Place the MBC in route just like you were going to hook it up and have the MBC barbely tighten to were its going to come apart. You are creating a small surge to spool up the turbo. Now you can tighten it up more to help it spool faster but be careful. Or you can get EBC which works best for this turbo.

If your running the stock boost control selinoids it will do that all day...mine did the exact same shit when I still had those...remove them and with your port fueler (AKA map clamp) car cant pull timing and boost. I wrenched my WGA all the way down as far as it would go and I use the ProfecB and I run 15PSI on my low settting then 26 (maxxed out) on high.
Ha Ha Chad did you get that bent up and chipped stock turbo to break apart and kill your engine yet...?
BTW got the full 3" stainless polished exhaust and its SICK!! As well as a beautiful stock bumper to replace my rice ass-end..Its gonna be sick..vvvveeerrrryyy Nice!
