took the adjustable portion off the hahn wga and swapped it onto the agp wga. kindof a tight fit but it will screw on. just be carefull not to thread it on crooked. as for mounting, i used the top hole on the agp wga mounting bracket and the bottom mounting hole on the front face of the compressor housing( not the ones that are welded on). 2 allen screws are on the front, they can come out.thats what i used to mount the wg. still adjustable and the angle is just right. been on bout 7mon. no issues

makes sense.. cheers for posting and cheers for the pix.....

But I have heard people use the mapper red wire to the far right sensor wire and the black to the middle?

find out which wires need power, ground, and signal...

then use a volt-meter to determine which wires are power, ground, and signal on the sensor...

do not go by middle, pass side, and dr. side... that's rediculous and whowever you are talkin with should be shot...

working with my map/tip clamp (and sensors during install) i found that some of the wires were the wrong color (comparing against several writeups and the FSM)...

by using a volt-ohm meter, you cant go wrong..

cheers

As far as middle, pass side, and dr. side for the wiring I was going off this thread - Hahn PortFueler Map Clamp Install?. Its not the right way to go about wiring something, but its not rediculous, theres only 3 wires. But thats why I asked on the hahn thread to see if anyone could let me know what colors the taped the red and black wires off the fuel mapper to the sensor.

Anywas I talked to Aaron and hahn and he said red wire from the mapper goes to the darkgreen with red strip wire from the sensor and the back goes to the middle from the sensor. Whats bad is hahn sent me the wrong mapper install picture, and its not even color coded, it just shows left wire, middle wire and right wire. I think I just use a volt meter.

This type of problem can be solved on this particular mbc by adjusting one of the two screws a bit tighter and loosening the other. Its a symptom of having the bleed portion too tight or too loose, I forget which one.

Is your BOV adjusted correctly? It could be bleeding off excess boost and you would probably never know.

what if i put an in-line orifice to restrict the air going to the EBC? can that help?

Also, if i adjusted the wastegate actuator to the fullest and didnt get much out of it(psi), am i pushing it hard on the turbo?(because maybe the turbo IS sending the25+psi just that somewhere in between pipes, the engine is not receiving the boost, if there was any?)

I have no problem spiking 25psi on the bigger hahn wastegate(with tru-boost), problem is holding boost till redline .. No matter what I do it still drops down to 21-22. This making top end tuning impossible (no port fueler).I'm begining to think it's the wastegate thats plaguing all of us. That agp wastegate mod is looking better to me everyday. Anyone have a hahn wastegate that actually spikes and maintains the same psi till redline?

u know what? i was thinking the same shit. its the effin wastegate. but i have yet to comfirm that. im going to put a bleed(or orifice) on the line going to the boost controler or after the boost controller n see if i can hold the 25psi

i made poor power. i think i should have made more.

20 psi.
hahn 20g
hahn portfueler
injen 3' exhaust
kn intake
bigger throttle body
ms3 springs

my tuner didnt like the portfueler system, said tuning resolution wasnt too good, not many points to tune on, and that when he would lean it out in one gear, another gear would be way rich, so thats why it dips down.

not happy with results.
im taking off portfueler, getting 750ss, afc, rail. wanna buy portfiuler, holler.

Halfwit, get dtec instead of afc if you're going that route. Need a return line as well with 750's.

If you wanted to try keeping the portfueler you could always try water/meth injection and upping the boost to around 24psi, just make sure your afr's are ok, meaning get a wideband if you don't have one.
