If the shop can make it fit, jump all over it! The S20g is not going to make much more than 440hp on a good day, where the 50 mm inducer off a 50 trim will push upwards of 500+. Its a no brainer.

Hmm I'd be interested to see how this 50 trim wheel in the 20G housing goes. The S20G is the biggest turbo I can fit in my engine bay... If it can be upgraded with a 50 trim wheel and make more power, that'd be sweet.

This may be a bit of a n00b question, but it would stay internally wastegated right?

i dont think the 50 trim compressor wheel will fit in the 20g housing because of the size...

a 50 trim has a 3" inlet and a 20g is 2.5 (maybe a lil smaller)

It wouldn't be much to port the compressor cover to 51 mm +.5mm/-.2mm. But those are ROUGH specs. Any machine shop familier with turbo work could do it. FBM, FnF, PTP, *AGP, and such.

*IMO best choice.

And while your at it. Get a fab shop to bend up an exhaust manifold for an external gate and equal length. That's where the power will be!

I would imagine it would be like sticking a 50 trim in a B housing instead of the E.
