ok thanks alot, that helps out. so if you had like 400hp on your 50 you would of stayed in front whole time. im just asking this cause a guy is selling his gt35r for about 900 and im just wondering if it is worth buying it and getting rid of my 50trim
well not the whole time I mean driver has to do a lot too. The thing is that the sweet spot on the GT35R is on race gas you get me, thats where the turbo really shines. The 50 trim is more pump gas friendly, I mean I know people with stock motor with GT35R, the car runs really good, but to take full advantage of 35R you need to have a built motor so you can crank boost up to 30+ psi on some nice C16

ya thats what i have read, its sick on c16. but no where to fill up with that. i may just buy it and keep it till i build the motor cause i didnt plan on building it till maybe next summer, im just getting cams and cam gears this summer

Yeah, but they still make really good power on pump, I mean if your gonna buy it just put it on you know, you just can't expect for it to perform a lot better downlow like second gear, from third and up you will see a difference, and 4th becomes sick. I know because I had a 50 trim, but now I'm running something almost equivalent to a GT35R on pump gas, and 2nd feels weak, third feels strong, but 4th is sick after like about 5000RPM, i'm not even gonna say 5th gear lol, I only did one run in fifth and I still don't believe how hard it pulled.
what type of power are you guys seeing on pump gas??? I'm hoping that it's around six to the wheels....I'm going to need to run like 25 psi to hit that on my car but with built internals its's no prob.

That graph will really like some cam tuning. Its nic to see that flat curve at the topend. Now open up that exhaust cam and make it climb to redline. BTW what rpm are you shooting for?

What should I tune the exhaust cam too? I need to replace my exhaust as wellI'm sure this will help with spool.
With the cam tuning, start by advancing the intake cam til you stop making power. Then start retarding the exhaust cam till you stop making power. Most of the time, I have seen the finally look like this: +2ish/-4ish intake/exhaust.
What is your spool in 4th? (include the boost please)
