I made 392 whp on 20 psi on pump gas so I think his numbers are legit.

Sure, but what were your torque numbers with 392HP?

The problem is with his torque in comparison to his horsepower. The numbers appear to be WAY off.

What WhatsADSM is saying is that either he didn't make that much HP or he made more torque. The numbers he reported don't make much sense.

well...i forgot the dynograph for the 361whp run, however I have the 341whp/322 wtq run in front of me...

17psi, 341whp/322 ft/lbs...

Leaking fuel press. regulator, one of my RC 750cc injectors are clogged, injector duty cycle is MAXED right now, and fuel filter was just replaced...

Dave ran the car again with a used but good FPR on the car and without any changes the car made 361whp again on 18 or 19 psi...but i'll have to get the graph when I go in there next... ill post the 17psi graph in a minute...

car is making full boost at 3700rpm's which is a good thing

I hit 15lbs by 3400-3500 or so . But then it takes me to 5000 to hit 20lbs... So I'm 99% positive I have a boost leak. All this, while running on only the wga.

That's how it was for me when I had run just off the WGA, and had boost leaks also.

Fix the leaks, and use a MBC to get the spool up. You'll love it

I'm scared to use my mbc... All I can get here is shitty 92, so I'll have to wait till I get my w/i installed in about 2 or 3 weeks before upping the boost.

But you are right, I love the new turbo, especially when the wga starts to dump

Yep, all I get is 91 octane. I was in the exact same situation as you. I couldn't turn it past the 18psi without knock. That was with the harder waste gate spring from AGP installed. I could have gone back to the softer spring and used the MBC, but I knew the w/i was going in soon.

you weren't kidding when you said I'd love using the mbc. Put some C14 in this weekend, and upped the boost to 26lbs... Holy shit Full spool by around 3500 or so... And man did it pull. Hopefully I'll be putting it on the dyno in a couple of weeks to see what kinda power I'm finally making with this beast.

All I can say is, trapping 120-122 on street tires, and gaining an average 30 mph in the back 1/8. This turbo rocks

Default Finally, some race gas numbers

I got everything worked out to where I could use the turbo at higher boost levels. I went to the dyno today with 7 gallons of 100 octane + one NOS octane booster. I tuned for timing/knock and kept an eye on A/F. I did not even see what the boost was to be honest, but my guess is 25-26psi.

Made 450hp and 450tq pretty much. I'll post graphs later and everything when I have some time.

nice numbers man!!! Honestly... I wouldnt go any higher than that.

Update on MY car: I'm bolting in a brand new stock motor along with my WAI kit... then getting it tuned with 2 different maps... one for pump gas and one for race gas w/wai. the pump gas map will be just pump gas HOWEVER i'll end up running WAI but won't tune with it...

Thanks. I might not go any higher. I don't want to replace the motor, I need it to last.

What your game plan sounds like is exactly what I've done. Good luck, it's hard work but it sure pays off in the end!

yea it sux that i blew my stock motor but... WAI is going to hopefully make it last for a while till I can actually afford to build the motor. If I get a 2nd car then i'll cancel insurance on my srt-4, pull the motor and start building it one piece at a time with EMS, T67, built trans etc....but thats in quite a few years.
