why do you say that???

looks good there man! Looks like a very steady increase in power vs. some of the other 3076 and 3071 R users out there which at about 3,200rpm it has a HOOK UPWARDS in power from the turbo hitting boost so hard and fast

I want this turbo but I'm still saving up and got a long way to go. So when do you see full spool up? I want a kit that will put me at around 425 WHP on pump which can be daily driven. Is this the kit I should get? Talk me into it, tell me the benifits of the GT3076R.

I see full spool up on the street at about 3000-3300rpm. You can easily get 400whp out of this kit on pump gas. The 3076R is IMO better than the 50trim and 35R because the 3076R can spool faster than the 35R and make almost the same power and has the almost the same MAX power output rating as the 35R. The 3076R is a very fun turbo and flows way more air (CFM) than the 50 trim. So all in all, the GT3076R is the turbo for you if you want to cut out PTB and still have good spool time and GREAT top end power.

Have you seen a GT3076R make over 600hp? Not lately.

thanks for your input

..i was about to compare the two (3076r Vs 50trim)

i like the 3076r from what i've seen so far..

how much are kits going for ..are they cheaper than the 50trims??

the Standard 50 trim is something like $1,600 or so from AGP Turbo...a GT3076R is going to run you $2,400 or so from AGP because of the dual ball bearing turbo... HOWEVER...if you go with the DBB 50 trim then the price will be the same...Personally...id still go GT3076R ...makes more overall power and a hella strong topend (no offence to the dbb 50 people)

quick question ...what set of cams work well with the GT3076R (because the turbo will spool sooner than other "big turbos") for stronger top end??

ex: Crane 12s

Crane 0016's if you want to stick with the crane's

Personally I'd do 2 things... 1.) PM Tex ... he's the cam god on the boards and 2.) i'd probably go with the Crower Stg. 2 cams over the Crane 0016's...

Suspension Mods:
Mopar S3 Coil-Overs (blown struts right now)
Hotchkis Sway Bars
17x8 Kazera Wheels with 235/45/17 BFGoodrich Tires

Little Supporting Mods:
Stage 0 PCM (stock 04)
Screamin Deamon Coil
Crane Fire Wires
NGK V-Power 4306 copper plugs
Boomba Racing Motor Mounts (top, bottom, tranny)
03 fuel rail with shraeder valve
Fuel Pump Re-Wire
Perrin Short Throw Shifter
Turbo XS D-Tec Fuel Controller
Turbo XS High Performance Boost Controller
NGK AFX Wide Band Sensor and Display
Aeromotive Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator with return line
RC650 Injectors
JMB Cold side intercooler pipe with GReddy S BOV
Lorenzo 60mm Throttle Body and Adapter Plate
Rag-Tek Ported and Polish Intake Manifold
CTI Big Front Mount Intercooler
AGP Lower Pressure Pipe
Stock modified Hot Side Pipe (metal part)
AGP 3" CAI with 4" to 3" reducer to fit turbo
CTI Downpipe with High Flow Cat and resonator

Turbo Kit:
AGP Garrett Ball Bearing GT 3076R Turbo .63 A/R Housing
AGP Turbo Manifold
Turbonetics Evolution External Waste Gate (15psi spring)
AGP 2.5" to 3" o2 housing

Some other minor stuff like audio, and turbo timer that's really not important.

I see full boost right now at 3700rpm in 3rd gear, switch to 4th and the rpms go to 4500rpm where I see full boost at 4700rpm. I don't know if that's as good as I can do or not, but I know that I do have boost leaks above 18psi (can't get much higher than that while testing for them because my tester also leaks) and my Lorenzo TB also leaks pretty good from the throttle cable linkage area.

Aside from the probable leaks, car runs great, and strong up top at about 19psi with a 10.2 A/F at redline

See my other thread here if you'd like:
3076R is in!

I'm also sold on the GT3076R, im just gonna buy all supporting mods and max out stock turbo while saving for the turbo kit. If i already have the return line and bigger injectors then i would be spending around 2500$ shipped for just the GT3076R kit which isnt too bad. My only question is it still possible to keep decent driveabilty so I can drive it daily? Im sure with a good tune its possible right? Do i also need to get a throttle body? I def want cams but anything else that you need?
