Traxmann dynod around the 420whp race, BUT! he had a STOCK CLUTCH, STOCK INTERCOOLER, and STOCK TB.....so that to me is saying A LOT. I have the GT30R 55 lb/min which is 10 lb/min under the GT35R.....supports about 530whp at most, but...back to the GT3071 now.....ill see if I can find a graph of the 3071 on th srt-4 from p-werks.

lets bump this thread, im an owner of this turbo and i also want to knwo the difference between the ATP and the garrett unit, does this mean that the ATP GT3071R can support more pressure and HP then the garrett unit? i just want more info on this turbo since it is a street terror as it spools damn fast, i cant wait to get me an NRGY head and a set of 14 series cams, im interested to see what that will do to the spool of this, and add a 62mm throttle body and an extrude honed intake manifold and you have one sick street car

Note: the 3071R actually spools up faster on the street than what this dyno suggests.

save your $$$ for built internals instead - be leary of too much torque down low, your oil pump won't like it..

gotta love the GT3071R....but it would only be fair to compare DBB to DBB...ie 50trim DBB vs GT3071R

the 50 trim .48 A/R spools up pretty much like the GT3071R on the dyno (i'll post a graph tommorow).

But on the street, the 3071R spools up faster (it's effortless).

The 50 trim .63 definitely a bit later than either of the two above - i'm sure the DBB 50 trim will come pretty close to the 3071R..

Nice graphs, right around what our car does. at 26psi should be 435whp or so.

Looks like at the same boost levels the 3071R would be making more power without a problem .

I like it

nivo do you run the .63 housing or .82 housing?

i wonder how the .82 would do for topend. and how much more spooling it would add to the mix

He has the ATP kit, so it's a .63 (the dynographs I posted were also for the .63).

Okay I need to bring this back up ...Nivo why are the compressor maps different? Also if you look on ATP's website it states its flow capability is 450hp. "GT3071R 60mm 71mm 450 HP " Yet the compressor map from Garret states 460hp and ATP's states 500hp. Also looks like ATP's version has more "psi" capability why it that?

Seems like none of the numbers add up LOL so I am hoping you can clue me in!
