That is true, however, I believe most that will be doing this will be wanting to have a cost effective setup...

oh yea, absolutely, props to you guys for doing it cheap, but at that time, I liked the idea of alot less rotating mass, and proven results... I'm not saying anything against SNL, or their stuff, their are several LS1's around here that are using/running your parts, I was simply stating that the stock crank is heavy, and their are lighter options...

Agreed, I tried to find a MADI crank for a long time, both Darrell, and Aaron tried to find one for me for a few weeks, no luck. I wish someone made a lighter version of it without cutting into the stock crank.

No worries man, I didn't think you were trying to be rude.

That is part of what we'll do with this, if someone has a lighter crank that they want to offer individually then we'll get their part number and put it on the list on the first post.

I fully intend to try and collaborate a list of all the possible options, frankly I don't care who makes it.

Agreed.

There are many people that can have this done, we can help you, DCR (I'm sure), Rage-Tek, etc.

Rage made a forged crank 5 years ago. We still have it sitting around collecting dust. I'd like to get a production going on them....

We only made the one for testing. Testing was GREAT but there could have been improvements. As for the weight it was a while ago, I'd have to dig it out of one of the bins and weigh it.

I'm afraid for us to release out more parts because they always get copied and rage gets screwed...again

Thats why I at least like to see threads like this where credit is given where its due right off the bat....
