best numbers by a bone stock evo 9 turbo which is
467whp/445wtq on a mustang dyno stock evo 9 turbo TD05HR-16G6-10.5T hahn race craft super 16g TDO5H-16G-10CM2 the hahn unit uses a slightly smaller turbine housing but the evo has a divided(ie actually smaller than a non divided of the same size housing with make the two about even spool wise compressor is the same iirc imo if some one really pushed the 16g it would walk on your bws hands down and a well assembled properly tuned super20g would make your bws cry for its mom the cost to make a bws perform like a 16g imo is way too high and hahn 16g kits are selling for next to nothing ie $700 for the full kit and most hahn kits have people still rocking the antiquated port fueler or heavens forbid the old apexi SAFC and they wonder why the rnt fast as no one has tuned them properly to optimize their performance. But were not talking about EVOs here. Let's talk about what it has done on the srt platform

Here we go again . Putting my waders on for the "my bws is better than stage3" argument .
We should call this the Chewbacca Defense . Ummmmm, ok.

only reason im in this pissing match is that im tired of Fanboi's that blindly follow the heard imo do some research look at what has been done on more expensive platforms the evo and dsm guys have extracted crazy power numbers from 16g and 20g turbos shoot even the 14b turbos that came stock on the 1 g dsm has a bigger hot side than a stock turbofold.
nuff said.......... That Will show gains from each with what ever setup you end up going with. I would do that over a Hahn kit.

I would do that over a Hahn kit. So would I, and that's what I did also. Traded my Super16G for a Borg Warner S252 with BatMoWheel. But it gets old when you read on this forum that the Super20G Turbo is complete garbage and the Mopar Stage 3 is so epic that ricers shit bricks at the mere mention of its name. Ya know what I mean? Gets old when people ride on Precision and AGP's nuts about their newest Zeta 3.0 or PTE 5558 or whatever and how they're the best flowing turbo EVAR when any decently sized Borg Warner or Garrett turbo will put them to shame and do without the blown seals and reliability issues. It gets old seeing retarded mofos drop 1600 on a turbo just to see a thread 3 months later about their turbo being blown because they didn't read the damn instructions and install it correctly with an oil restrictor. It gets old seeing threads about people who spend 400 dollars on a new AMG Lightweight Battery because their battery light flickers on occasion. And what's even crazier than all of this is that AGP, the turbo brand that everyone seems to praise on this forum, can offer y'all a 4500 dollar price tag and a picture of a goddamn sink, and everyone deems it legit and buys the turbo kit. I'll be damned if I bought a turbo that somebody recommended to me from a website that doesn't even have a picture of it. Come on man! This ain't high school. We all know better than to eat the mystery meat. All these sheep on this forums are waiting to throw lamb chops whenever a little bit of information comes their way that "doesn't make sense" to their extremely limited knowledge-base. Man, if it wasn't for the For Sale Section, and the vendors that make a profit on this forum, many of the real people wouldn't even be on here. Last edited by flylike2kites; 01-06-2013 at 11:23 PM. |

Its 4500 because it includes everything to support a big turbo plus the big turbo kit. No I am not a agp nut swinger and no I agree the price is high.

It doesn't make sense that the fm is double the price. And does anyone know what the difference between the rs manifold and the stock ported manifold from sdk?

Never seen the FM version but I saw the ptp and FBM version back in the day. They did not work well and never made any good #s. Have not seen any good #s from the FM version.
Search ptp/fbm v-band ext mani.

Sooo the original design manifold must flow pretty well without porting for most stock frame turbos then...If your going all out some may just add a ported version for good measure I guess...

Search ptp/fbm v-band ext mani. i posted a long while back my dynographs for before and after the fm manifold. i gained 20 hp and 20 trq and a real nice power curve on the dyno wih 93 pump gas compared to the stock manifold. but like everyone has said unless ur trying to finish out a modified stock build its not worth the cost.

Thats cool. 700.00 for 20 WHP...That would be $35 per per single unit of HP...Thats not horrible...Mole's is 350.00 & $100 or so for a 3 inch 02 housing assuming his makes the same power, which would be $22.50 per single unit of HP...Even better...Im sure at some point after the thrill of the E85 dissapates I will get the ported manifold in desperation for more power and wish I bought a big turbo from the get go

Not a clue
but I suspect that the Fm piece has been tested and dyno proven and the SDK is just another pretty faceThe rsk is for a stage 3/Evo turbo the other manifolds are for stock turbos SCH-I510 using AutoGuide.C
