I was looking at the 2 of these manifolds for my E1 Equipped car. FM $700 vs SDK $270. port work looks real nice on the SDK. The design changes of the elbow restriction look about the same..Anyone had any experience with these 2 pieces...Didn't find much on these with the search! Thanks http://www.forwardmotioninc.com/html...og/page20.html SDK Motorsports :: Mopar :: SRT-4 :: Port & Polish :: RS Exhaust Manifold

The FM will make more power hands down.. and you don't need a 3" o2 housings so when you compare costs you need to look at that also...

The only mani that you can compare to the fm would have to be a external gated one. The elbow is just part of the restriction.

I have the FM manifold and stuck with Mike's recommended upgrade path.
My best 1/8th mile is 8.064 @ 92.88 MPH. My fastest MPH is 95.11. Yes, the ET needs to improve but I think the MPH shows the power its making. If you have the E1 currently, I would recommend the FM manifold. It’s a proven combination that works. Just my thoughts, good luck.

I wouldn't spend the money on either.Your basically heading down a dead end road with the setup anyway. And the horsepower per dollar really isn't there.

I cant totally agree with you on this one. I have the FM mani and love it. I do agree the HP per dollar isnt there but I wanted to make a easy 300whp on pump93 and not have a laggy turbo. I also wanted under the hood to look as stock as possable. I also didnt want to get into the mess of fuel system ,tunning and all the big turbo mess. This seemed to fit my needs and ive been very happy with the FM E1 and FM Mani. If it was all about HP per dollar nitrous is still the best lol.

Yes, Nitrous would be fun.
A bigger turbo is tough to argue. I guess it’s all in what you want and how to get there.

I have a ported manifold and 3 in O2 housing with E1 and I noticed a noticed a small gain running pump gas from 8.4 to 8.3 range in the 1/8 mile. Mopar downpipe and exhaust.

Im switching to E85, so if I do the manifold at the same time I would have no clue on its portion of the performance gain...If I can get 350WHP or so without it I may spare the expense till later if at all...
