Default First time build need your help.

well i hydrolocked my motor last friday and now im going to build it up. So i wanted to get your guys opinions on my build path. looking to get 550-600hp. WITH THE HTA 60 REVING TO 7-7500. WILL THE CROWER RODS HOLD UP.

mpx engine rebuild kit with upgraded crower rods.
DCR oil system
DCR crank strap
CNC race head.
CRANE 18s


Well let me know if im missing anything because i want to do it right the first time.

I wouldn't get the Crower stage 3 cams b/c they're too harsh for daily driving. I'd get the BC 3s or Crower 2s on a fully built motor with your goals.
DCR billet tensioner isn't a bad idea either.
Get the DCR head stud kit or budget head stud kit from them.
I would also recommend that you do some trans. work. Rage 3/4 fork, Shift selector, Input shaft, Rage-clutch pivot, snap ring.
I was kinda skeptical about me buying the clutch pivot from rage but as of recently I've been seeing a bunch of people breaking theirs so I think that was a wise investment.
Get as much as u can while the car is down.
I didn't think I'd be doing as much as I have but it is what it is.

THANKS I have the billet tensioner already and the drc head studs. ill look into the crower 2's.
