Default Big Turbo High Mileage!!

Hey guys I know some of you saw my thread 50 trim no lsd, and now my question is has anybody went big turbo on a high mileage srt. I have 109xxx miles.

I have 88K on mine, Member.. a guy from GA has 150K+ on his stg 3 car on the same motor. He put the kit on at 15,000 miles also.

Get a compression check and if everything is good throw it on. Long as the car has been maintained

mileage doesnt mean anything if the car was maintained unless you have 200k

No set rule on any engine. I thought my engine could hold it since it checked out good on the leak down and compression tests (90k). Everything seemed fine, but after less than 1k with the 50 trim I had bent rods and cracked pistons. It still ran good and didnt have anything happen to it other than it started smoking more. So I pulled it apart and saw it was time for a rebuild.

Hope you have better luck.

Thanks for that I think i'm going to do the rebuild first. Man that sucked after only 1k miles.
