Default Big Problems

i have an 05 srt 4.

well i was driving home one night and check engine light came on and the car would barly run. so i pulled over check the codes they where 201,202,203,204. which is all four injectors.

so i take the car back to stock, i had cca fmic, mbc, plugs and wires. so i have everything stock from the fmic to the wires. i even put in the factory air filter. well the only thing i didnt change is the plugs.

long story short its at dodge and they told me today the the NGK that where in it were the wrong ones and they want to charge me 160 for them to put in stock ones.

so what i am asking is has anyone had this problem? i am going there tomorrow and finding out why the NGK were wrong.

am i wrong for thinking they are dumb for thinking the plugs were the cause? i have put it on a scanner and all signs are pointing to the ecu. but hey what do i know.

thanks for the comments

It' s funny but they have your ass grabbed. Pay now and solve the warranty problem, wich is more expensive than the plugs. I took mine to the dealer with the CCA FMIC and they told me that doesn't void warranty since it helps the engine breath a little cooler. Just remember dealers put their own rules, just play along with them since you want your warranty.

don't just give in. tell them that there is no way that those plugs caused your injectors to fail and to fix your shit.... when u modify your car the only time they won't replace under warranty is when the part u put on caused the problem!

neons HATE platinum plug with a passion, both my original 2.0L DOHC and the replacement 2.4 ran like absolute crap on them...dont think they would cause an injector failure, but they are bad enough to do weird things, get them out ASAP, put the stock plugs in and take it back, on a guess I would say your computer may be semi-fried(the injector drivers may be overworked) stock injectors? if not try putting the stock ones back in, but dont put it past those plugs to screw things up, IMO from experience...it is a possibility...although a remote one

I agree. Put stock plugs back in and take it to a different dealership. And don't ever give in.
