Default Bang 4 The Buck Turbos

I've searched and researched most turbos but i'd like to ask you guys whats a good bang for the buck turbo that's decent. Just wondering regarding your opinions. My goal is maybe just 400whp+ that's really about it. I've searched around and seems like S3 setups seems to be great. However, i just want your opinion and options on other turbos such as 16g,20g, and etc. oh and price range something less than 600 bucks.

You could get an E1 Turbo from Forward Motion. I think you can pull about 340HP out of it. Heard of allot of good stories on this setup.

If you want 400+whp, you definitely need to increase your price range. There are many more components you need than just a turbo, and it is going to be WAY more than $600.

While we are at it, I want a 6 puck clutch/flywheel, slicks, and 3/4 syncro for $600 also.

Yeah, 400hp with a $600 budget isnt likely to happen. Mostly because everything needed to go with it. Like fuel and tuning.

I just talked to the guys at forward motion yesterday. We talked for almost a half hour about the E1 and different ways to set it up and run it. They seem like a great retailor. Since I already have nitrous, I'm thinking about an E1 as well.

My goal is 11 sec car, I don't care if I do it with 10whp or 1010whp!!! I want 11's!!!

Oh before I forget, there exhaust manifold looks bad ass as wheel.

This is very true, you can't just throw a different turbo on and not have the supporting mods to go with it. I was thinking you had these supporting mods and were looking strictly for a bang for the buck turbo for under or around $600 like the title says.

if you dont include the manifold, wastegate, or any supporting mods there are a few decent turbos out there for about 600

Yeah, the words cheap and turbo should not go in the same sentence together. That is the last thing you need to try and cut corners on and get cheap. (aka. do not go on ebay looking for a turbo).

My friend has bought 2 ebay turbos now for his gsx... both t3/t4's... both turbo's blew up after about 2k-3k miles of seeing 25psi. He went and bought a garrett and he has had no problems now after about 10,000 miles

How about an AGP 50 Trim? It's cheapish but it's also not wallet breaking, go raise a little more money and you'll be able to hit 400whp with supporting mods.

I think he may have the stock turbo maxed out with all the supporting mods to go with a bigger turbo and is asking what is his best bang for the buck turbo. Not what is the next bang for the buck mod or what is the best bang for the buck setup.
