Question To ball bearing or not to ball bearing?

I am looking at AGPs website to pick out a turbo upgrade for my SRT motor before I drop it in the car. I see the Garrett GT ball bearing setups and the T3/T4 setups. Which is better? And why? Also are the Hahn setups any better then AGP or is it just a namebrand thing like nikes or reeboks? Oh yeah....and can I run one of these without tuning on a stage one computer and injectors on a stock fuel system? I am looking at the GT3071R and the 3147. I am leaning toward the 3147 because of price....

I believe AGP has a turbo selection post in their section of the forums which may help you decide. Both turbo's will spool fast, but the GT3071R will make slightly more power. You can slap the turbo's in without tuning as long as you keep the boost down, if you want to turn the boost up to unleash the actual potential of the turbo you will need to upgrade your fuel system and get a tuning device (piggyback, standalone) and begin tuning.

if you want a plug-n-play on a stage1 your not going to find it, unless you get ahold of PTPerformance and get his SS turbo. if you were stage2 i would be willing to be a hahn 16g kit will be fine. you will need more fuel and somthing to control boost if you were to go larger
