Default balance shafts

what are the pro's and con's of removing balancer shafts... who all has done this and what were your results...

I've read alot about this and now have done it. Basicly you must do this if your pushing @380 hp+ because the chain is pretty small and will snap causing catastrophic failure inside your motor. If you are not putting down that kind of HP then I would say leave it alone. The assymbly is functional however not completely necessary. By removing the chain it is said to give you @10 HP but I dont really suggest doing this for 10 HP but hey its your car. Do some research as I'm sure you would before you do this as there are several ways to do it and some change oil capacity and other things like that. Well good luck with whatever you decide to do.(I went with the DCR windage tray and while you are in there you should go with a custom pickup tube).
