Default bad lag on stock turbo

Ok i jsut recently put on a stage 1 pcm, Evil Creations BFMIC and AGP lower IC pipe on my car. Now it seems like the turbo lags really badly. Doesnt make full boost till 4k. I am on the stock turbo. My mods are listed in my sig. Basically every bolton u can do plus stage 1 pcm and stage 1 injectors. My friend with an 05 has the exact same mods and his car seems alot faster. He makes almost 10 psi were I make like 1-2 psi. what could be the problem? Boost leak? turbo going bad?

makes like 16 psi in 2nd and 3rd and 19 in 4th but it jusr seems like it takes for ever to build boost; compared to my friends cars; but they are also on stock boost gauge too so I am sure their reading is off.

Ok the person who had the car before me put on an aftermarket intake. The 3 little black things (not sure what to call them) # 3,2,1 from have my friend told me vacuum lines running from them. Mine are all capped off would that make a difference? Could it be my turbo is going too? I have 69k miles. I use a turbo timer though.

check for a vac diagaram to make sure its hooked up ok. i would say loose wga arm or bad boost leak... if you can build it but its slow it might be a bad tune too... has your car been tuned? also check for intake restrictions... i.e. really dirty filter will cause this. try turning the boost down and see if thats any better
