My 30R is dead. And the cost to fix it is more then a S259.
Anyone with one of these? It's the old S258 with a +1mm Compressor wheel... Thanks in advance. NachO I was wondering why you would be changing your set up so soon. Whats your hsp goal? If you dynoed 430ish then what do you want, 450? 500? And will this be with E85??? I would highly advise looking at the Delta series that AGP offers. D55 will meet the above goals. Little to laggy for your taste, then get the TBB option.... They have a turbo that will meet and exceed your expectations.

I say you talk to agp and get the s256!!! It will make over 500whp and spools up quick.. when i asked them about the s258 they said it was laggier and did not gain more than 20whp so it was not worth it.. I could only imagine the s259 would be even worse...

I cannot discuss details, but, right now I am displeased with the level of service from AGP on my 30R issues. Not unhappy, yet, I am satisfied with the Service level from Jon and Ben, but not so happy about the reason I was given for why the 30R failed. No details, no Drama, the situation is up in the air. Anyhow for the cost of a new center section for a GT turbo I got a complete S259 with polished compressor housing, and saved $50.00. I also got a "No questions asked" 90 days warrenty if installed by a qualified bullseye power dealer. The S259 is installed, and looks good, the V-band downpipe is going to be a bit tricky to Fab up but I thnk we can work it out. We also had to remake my Charge pipe as the S259 sits a little bit different on the AGP manifold then the 30R did. I'm guessing I'll be the first SRT-4 with the brand new S259 hotness installed? I've seen a few (Quicky Jr. maybe) with plans for the S258 (discontinued now), but no mention of the 259... I will update with numbers as soon as I have them. Here are some pics and stats on my build-up TEASER PIC: ![]() NachO_SRT mkcperformance.com Blog NachO

We have the charge pipe that you need sitting here on the shelf and every customer gets one with there big turbo kit from us. Should have gone S362 but I don't think there is enough room to fit that on the log manifold, well not yet anyways . Should have a solution here soon for you guys with a new manifold that will allow the S362 to be ran on your car or maybe even bigger (S368 anyone?). I will keep you guys posted.

Modified By KC has a good fabricator and I'm ending up with a quality result. We're going to rework the Waste Gate and convert it to the TiAL MV-S so Compact and very well suited for my needs, recirculating to keep the noise down so I can hear the Tires/Engine/Other Cars I really like the .70AR 3 inch Hotside, it's the perfect split between the too small.63 and the lil bit too big .82. We hope to have the Fab work finished up today and get her on the rollers this afternoon for the first round of Dyno tuning. A little Road tune tonight and I'll post some numbers/kills tomorrow.I would be intrested in talking to you about your Engine builds. I'm looking for a Road course suitable motor, Redline in the 8800 to 9200 Range. I need it to hold around 550-600 HP. Send me a PM and we can discuss the Scope of my needs, I need to get a savings target right now, the $1X,XXX build this year has concluded it's annual budget. Anyhow, Thanks again for the info on the 259, it looks to be a killer turbo for sure! NachO |
