Default AGP turbo question

ok im about to order my turbo from AGP

after alot of research and thought in what turbo to get i am a bit confused at why agp is saying their 58 trim 3147 (.63 AR) is less efficient than their 50 trim (.63 AR)

wouldnt the 58 trim 3147 have slightly better airflow resulting in better performance? or am i missing something?

PS i am somewhat of a turbo noob so be nice

kevin

No, trim is just a ratio of the inducer size vs. the exducer size of the wheel. You could have a 50 'trim' wheel that is much larger in size and flow potential than a 70 'trim'.

If I confused you even more, shoot me a PM or give us a ring tomorrow. We'll be able to explain all that to you over the phone.
