No it doesnt, but I remember reading some knowledgable guys, such as blackbird r/t, saying they would probably plug it anyway. That was over a yaer ago though and I can't remember what conclusion everyone came to.
those have to be the highest 50 trim numbers that i have every seen on 21 and 24 psi respectively. great numbers what mods do you have or if you have already listed them gimmie a page number or link.

Hey, btw, my car is smoking nice and white, again........ I thought I was done with this, but I guess the ol 50 trim just loves to burn my damn oil up lol. I even have teh check vavle installed from the pcv valve to TB lol. Whatever though, as long as it runs great, fuck it. Its a tad on the ritch side too 11.5-10.5 but, its better than being lean .
Hey I noticed something tonight that may explain my low dyno numbers for a given boost level. I was driving on my low boost map which reads as 24 psi on my Defi boost gauge which is installed in the stock location. Just out of curiousity I switched my Aeroforce scan gauge to read boost and it was reading 20.x psi boost during the same pull.
Does anyone know where the scan guage gets its boost reading from? I was thinking it was the map sensor. If so, it would make sense that it would read slightly lower boost since I am altering the signal by pulling fuel with DTEC, but I am only pulling -7 under full throttle with DTEC. Is that enough to make the computer think I am boosting 4 psi less?
you're correct. the aeroforce reads from the map sensor, and that signal is being altered by the DTEC. I dunno how much PSI it should read lower w/ -7% correction though
which map sensor are you running? pretty easy to do the math/conversion of how much percentage pulled correlates to how much the pcm actually sees.
I am running the Mopar 3 bar. Its probably all just from the DTEC because the two gauges read the same under vaccum. For a second I was happy that I could crank up the boost even more.

Yeah but I am monitoring knock and air fuel at the same time so I could have caught it. Once I had the vac line blow off the compressor housing which eliminated boost control and the turbo was on its way to pegging the 30 psi gauge, but luckily I caught it.

you could wire up the scanguage to read the correct boost from your map sensor. then you can see the clamped boost and the actual boost. more accurette(sp?) then the mech. guage.

The Defi gauge is actually a full sweep electric gauge eventhough it takes its reading from the same location the factory mechanical gauge does. It is probably accurrate enough since I don't tune off boost, I just use it as a reference to compare. I had just thought for a second that this disparity between gauges may explain the behavior of my car, but I soon remembered about the DTEC affecting MAP voltage. Back to the drawing board.
i guess the only way to get a super accurate boost/vac source would be to tap the intake manifold near the MAP sensor and run a dedicated line to the gauge/sender

I never had a problem with my Defi Blue Racer scince it was installed, almost two years ago. It reads right along with the AEM EMS.

Good to hear, I almost hoped it was off just so I would be running a lower boost than I thought I was, lol. But yeah, under vaccum where DTEC has no affect on the MAP voltage the DEFi reads exactlly the same as my scan gauge. I can't say the same for my Greddy Profec B Spec II EBC though which is hooked into the same line as the Defi. It has alredy recorded peak boost numbers of 28 psi when the other gauges read 24 psi and 30.1 when the other gauges read 27 psi. Its been like that for over a year now.
