Question

Why does no one rev to 6500rpms with big turbos?

I saw a dyno of a stg2 stock turbo that ran to 6500 and made good power all the way to 6500.

Is it too much stress on the motor with a big turbo to rev that high or what? Just seems like it would be great (if you could make good power for that 500rpms) to rev higher so you can go faster in each gear.

Or does it have something to do with Stage 0 and 1 not letting you go much past 6000rpms like stage 2 and 3?

Is there a way to modify stage 0 and 1 PCMs so that you can rev higher without sparkcut and rev limiters?

Thanks

its only 250 more RPMS not 500 (stage2)

and the cost difference between stage 1 and 2 is more then some people want to pay for 250 RPMs extra.

Stg 1 = shit too. Pulls timing on top and retards the hp lol. Crap imo. I rather deal with harmless codes than a loss of power, that I have to pay to get lol.

Question

See now talking to other people, they have said (aaronneon) that there are no issue with stage 2 and it is fine. And I have definately never heard anything about stage 1 having any problems other than the wasted money for not getting some codes thrown, and being pretty much a must have for an 05 with big turbo.

With the Stage 1 ECU pulling timing, is that corrected with higher octane gas? Or what?
