I would pick a ball bearing .48 ar 50 trim turbo. Oh wait...I did.

You need the 650's (they will make it to 450 HP, especially with your return fuel). You need an open exhaust and a tuner device and a wideband and an intake. That's to name just the basics. You can probably hit 425 with all of this with 25 psi and race gas, from what I have seen.

i am in the same boat as you are and was looking at 3076r or 50 trim. im deff gonna go with the 48ar bb 50 trim due to fast as hell spool and great power on pump gas. i dont want to rely on race gas or tons of boost for good numbers. i've seen a few vids on each type of turbo and from what i have seen the 3076r and bb 50trim are neck and neck performance wise. just look into the the threads for 50trim and 3076r turbo guys. just seems to me the 50 trim guys are getting better numbers on pump gas and at lower boost levels. i've been researching both options for months.....just my o2. good luck!

I was gonna try it but agp talked me out of it. They said it would do nothing but surge.

What about a gt2871r they are making over 400whp on 2.0 sr20's w/ a t2 turbine side and internal gates, running 20 or so psi, and it spools really quickly on a smaller motor.

w/ a bigger turbine & external gate you would have a nice power band and still make over 400 whp

It would...I was getting a little surge from my 3147 w/ .63...your trying to shove in more air than the motor can handle at that particular engine speed and its got no where to go

While cruising in 5th gear, my car will be fully spooled at 2800 rpms. It's hard to tell when I am cruising around town in a lower gear because the rpms just jump up too damn quickly because of wheel spin.

I disagree with your comment about it surging badly. I don't know if your turbo was more prone to it or not...but mine only does it when I reach minimal boost levels and only for a split second before the BOV goes off.

I don't think we are talking about the same thing

And 5th gear isn't the best gear to tell what rpm you get full boost @.
