I'm having the opposite problem from dansrt4. I just street tuned mine to 20 psi and still am getting a MAX of 10.4 afr. I'm only pulling out 15% with the neo, any more and I start to see a 2.0-2.5 count of knock. Pulls like a son of a bitch but I would like to get the afrs at least into the low 11's. Right now I'm running about 42 psi static on the return line, have the 1:1 hooked up, 255 walbro and DW 650's for fuel.
Talked to my one buddy today and we think some of the problem might be the direct fit QW intercooler. I definately need to replace it to help with spool also. Full boost comes on around 3400-3500.
I would stop thinking the FMIC is the problem and focus more on the fuel problems. Dont pull more then around 25% you will run into issues with knock for sure then.

Still with the s2/s3 injectors with a return line. I pretty much figured around 19-21 would be about it and it is. No dyno till i get injectors would be a waste of money and dyno queening till i get them.

Well, here's my dilema now.....I am also running the 680s (stage 2 no toys currently) on my 3147, but no returnline, just a walbro 255. I just installed my wideband yesterday to see where my afr's are before turning up the boost. I'm only running the 10 lb spring in the wastegate for now, so I was expecting my a/f to be similar to my previous stage 2 numbers (10.5-11.0).
This is definately NOT the case, the first pull I did, I got 12.5-13.0. I quickly backed off and double checked my settings on the afc-II, all zeros, check.
Ok, I tried again and got an 11.xx for a split second but the rest of the time it was 12.0-12.7. Not cool.
The w/b reads 14.7-14.8 idling, so it seems calibrated. I'm just wondering if this is how it's supposed to run at this low of boost. Honestly, I never had the stock turbo running this low, so maybe it ran like this before, but I doubt it. All I know for certain is that at 19 psi on the stock turbo, it was 10.5-11.0 before leaning it out a bit with the afc. I'm just worried to turn the boost up now and risk running majorly lean to while trying to see what's going on.
Suggestions anyone? Do I turn the boost up to see, or do I start trouble shooting the fuel?

What is the boost at? The wastegate spring doesn't mean much on externals. I can boost 24 lbs on the big spring ( 11 lbs or ?). But 10 lbs on a 3147 is alot more air and pressure than a stock turbo.

It is just the 10 lb spring alone. Boost is at 10 psi to redline.

i had the same problem. part of it is that the scaling of the fuel maps for the 682 injectors. switch to rc650's you'll only have to pull about 10-15%. your other option would be to use a stock computer and sensors and the scalling will have the s2 injectors at higher duty cycle. i went with the 650's

Ok, do you know whether or not the duty cycle will increase if I up the boost? On AGPs site they say that you should be able to run a 50 trim at ~16 psi on stage 2 before maxing it out. I'm thinking that once it sees higher boost, the computer will kick up the injector duty cycle. Kind of nervous to try this though, since I'm already lean.

Anyone know around what power i should be at right now? So just wanted to know your input as to what mod i should do next as you are fellow 3147 owners

An AEM ems is great too. A bit pricy, but drivability and compensation for weather is great. And a built in 2 step. Meth and nitrous control. And with a boost solenoid you get great boost control. And a ton of other stuff it can do.
What AFR are most of you running in your tune with zero Knock Retard on pump gas without using water injection. Also what boost are you running with this AFR? Are you keeping the AFR curve flat or are you running a leaner AFR to help spool time then richening it up as you approach redline?
I'm just trying to get my portfueler tuned safe with the agp 3147... Answers to these questions will help get me pointed in the right direction. I am currently tunned at 10.3afr @ 3200rpm and as I approach redline I get an 11.3afr, but I am also getting Knock Retard of 4 to 5 at redline. This is on pump gas at 18 to 19psi, and no water injection.
