160-162 across the board.fully warmed up engine and throttle open.
How does that rank? I do have a slight leak from the valve cover gasket in cylinders 2-3. I'm getting my timing belt changed next week and also gonna do the valve cover gasket

csufdrew - there's your reason for a healthy engine right there - oil changes and no overheating I'll bet
This is why I tell everyone general maintenance and fixing shit that's broke goes a very long way.

If you can just get people you know or friends, etc - to just get the oil changed - they'll end up saving so much time, money and headaches. Even sending people to Jiffy Lube (or similar) is better than no oil changes. The J-team idiots will often check air filters and things - at least to prevent a disaster - but otherwise they techs are often full of horsesh**. And when you tell people about something, they can act on it or ignore it! |

Correct. Oil analysis actually says to try 9-10k between changes. Also have had 180* thermostat for a long time.
