Default 10 bucks to whoever solves my problem

I am getting 6KR at 4k RPM every damn time. I was running the E1 with FM manifold at 20psi getting 6KR. I thought it was the manifold bracket or DP banging around since they were not secure, but that wasn’t the problem. This past weekend I installed AGPs S3D and I am boosting 9psi and getting the same 6KR at the same RPM. What’s the problem here? Whoever suggests something that works will get 10 bucks.

its the amount of timing given at that boost level. look at the timing curve and you will see what imtalking about. basically your getting a lot of timing at 9psi.

Run some race gas! Check to see if the knock sensor is correctly torqued down, sometimes that will make kr!

i have a new gauge sitting at home. I will try putting some race gas in tonight. I just lowered my Dtec from pulling 13% to 10%. My timing is in the low to mid 20s

Reed- that pic is really small i cant read it

what PCM do you have in your car?
timing seems a little low in the 20's
whats your AFR's?
and what octane gas?
whats the humidity/barometric pressure like where your at?
reed came up with what i first thought would be exactly the problem is that your using the factory timing table and its causing KR...but with timing in the low 20's it seems odd

edit: read ur sig and saw u have a stg1...timing is low, should be in lower 30's with the right conditions

S1 PCM
AFR's are rich dont know the number since i cant read the wideband while paying attention to the road. I know i am not lean.
93oct
Humidity 57%
Pressure 30.00 in
That timing was recorded on the E1 it could be different now.
Returnline set to 58psi with S2 injectors

if its the same rpm both times and you are at different loads (20psi and 9psi) i would bet that the knock sensor is hearing engine noise at that rpm level. retorque your knock sensor and go from there

e-85 (85% ethanol, 15% gas) moonshine, whatever, and guys dont drink it, is 104-105 octane and might have solved your knock problem, but ethanol is (very important) is extremely corrosive. dude e-85 is not your solution. anything and everything in your fuel system that is rubber will eventually deteriorate because of this. do yourself a favor and run a higher octane unleaded gas. i know e-85 might be cheaper but your car is not a flexfuel or ethanol vehicle, ya your car might run fine on it, but your not doing your fuel system any good running it. if u didnt know, u know now, stop using it!
