Default zaino products...

i have been detailing for 8 years everyday. lately been doin it on the weekends alot of high end cars. i mainly use wolfgang and pinnacle stuff for the paint. most of my customers garage there cars and rarely drive them. but they look great. i had a new customer that came from one of my main guys. his car is a 04 lambo black. he wanted me to use Zaino total show car protection kit he bought. i explain about the steps on the zaino stuff. he understood. i started it on friday washing (washing a lambo with dawn) and clay bar. dry it. saturday started the zaino process that they ask for. sunday finished up the car.

zaino products are easy to use. i pulled it out just to check for wax on the paint. shiny but seems a little plastic like. anyone know why? car didn't seem like that before. 4 coats of z-2 pro and z-6 in between. i used the zfx add stuff.

week before did a Ferrari red with wolfgang fuzion wax, it looked amazing.

guy in the lambo was happy with the car. i doubt i will use zaino anymore. he was gone for the weekend left me keys and code to his house that was cool. by the end of sept i will be doin a ACR viper that some one has order red with black. i cant wait...

any other zaino guys?

zaino is way over rated and is only good for 1 or 2 days worth of car shows then it fades away. pinnacle is good as is wolfgang but is also pricey i do use wolfgang claybar and nothing else though. for the money there are better choices out there. especially if your using dawn as step 1 on a lambo. to the op how long did you let the layers sit before applying the next coat? i would try to space the LSP layers a few hours apart.

I am a casual detailer. I do my cars and once in a while I will do some of my friends cars.

I was a regular user of meguiars products but recently I tried a couple of products from Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detail Supplies - Adam's Polishes. After using their products..I gave away all my meguiars products to who ever wanted them.

I am very happy with the products adams polishes supplied to me.

Zaino is good. But overrated in my opinion. I've had results similar to zaino with my Turtle Wax Liquid Ice Products. Shine's better IMHO, without the plasticy shine.

And when I really feel like getting down with a detail. I use mequires.

As far as I'm aware Zaino doesn't use any abrasives. It uses fillers to do it's thing. So it doesn't actually fix the problem it just masks it. No thanks!
