Not really sure...I use Zaino beacuse it is SO EASY to apply and take off! You can do it in the sun and it comes off like butter! Best stuff I have EVER used! Somewhat pricey but sometimes you get what you pay for!

All great questions.

To remove old wax, dawn dish soap and a clay bar system will remove both all the old wax AND the contaminents that are in your paint that you accumulate from daily driving. No amount of scrubbing during a general car wash will ever get the clear coat of your vehicle as smooth and clean as a clay bar system.

These videos can help you with that process:

Car was bucket prep -
Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detail Supplies - Bucket Preperation

Washing the car -
Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detail Supplies - Washing the Car

Clay bar process -
Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detail Supplies - Clay Bar Part 1

After the vehicle has been smoothed out with a claybar, you can then move onto the polish/wax portions.

There are two ways to do this. One is by hand, which works great using our micro fiber applicator pads and microfiber towls to apply and remove. Can be done in the sun and there is ZERO drying time required. We'd like to see you polish the vehicle in the shade on a cool day for best results, FYI. For hand polishing, we suggest the Revive Polish with Swirl and Haze Remover added if the vehicle has swirls and haze (simple name huh?) Each can be done seperately or mixed to save time.

Hand polishing video -
Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detail Supplies - Hand Polishing Areas

Once you are happy with your polishing results, you can move on to hand waxing. For this, Butter Wax. It's a 50/50 mix of polymers and Carnuba that can be applied either on hot or cold days in the sun or shade. Again, applied via microfiber applicator pad and removed with a microfiber towel. ZERO drying time. Rub on, wipe off.

Hand polishing will only get you so far. Polishing with a machine is where you TRUELY see the potential for your car's shine.

We suggest the Porter Cable 7424 simply because it's the easiest orbital polisher we've ever seen. Speed adjustable and easy to manage/hold - you can't burn your paint and it will give you the best coverage you can imagine.

When polishing by machine - we have 3 different pads to pick from depending on what your needs are. We have an orange aggressie pad if the paint is as rough as you'd find on a boat or RV - a white pad for polishing and a black pad for the super fine touch ups.

All can be found on our website here -
Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detail Supplies - Adam's Polishes - Machine Polishing

For machine polishing, you'd use our Fine Machine polish.

Video -
Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detail Supplies - Machine Polish Part 1

And for waxing -
Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detail Supplies - Waxing

You really really won't find an easier process as the videos show. If you have any questions feel free to call us up, ask, or browse the website. It's loaded with TONS of information!

Don't use the expensive stuff, it doesn't work any better and in fact most cases it's horrible. Stick with Mothers, Meguires or Zymol. Nothing works better on this car's paint.

I love my NXT2.0 wax. Comes off easy and smells good. How can you not wax your car?
