How can I make my valve cover look like it's not pc'd dirt gray?
I cannot get that grime of, and all the stores around here stopped carrying CD2, the only part I got to shine was the letters, with 1000 grit, but I can't get down in between the letters.
someone help me before I have an aneurysm
Thanks

I am thinking about painting it though.....
Anyone have a particular brand they like, I know duplicolor is supposed to work well, what other options are there?
go to Autozone,Pepboys or Checkers and buy some caliper spray paint that's the shit right there! I used it like 1 yr ago and it still looks nice and shiny with no sign of cracking or fading
I painted this a while ago, like 6-8 months? Still looks like this, and it looks badass in the engine bay. I used High Temp Engine Paint
Looks good to me too. I wish I had a spare to send you and do up like that or with two alternate colors? What other colors were available of the same kind of paint you used?
So you cant see paying 140+ for a valve cover that looks badass, comes with new gaskets and oil cap? PC will last..... high temp paint not so much. I sold my old valve cover for 40 dollars shipping and the total I had in my valve cover was ~125 dollars. DARKSYDE FTW!
