anything that's not petroleum based. They tend to crack and 'dry-out' vinyl & rubber surfaces out fast and need constant re-application.

mebcop, depends on what you want the shine to do after applied. If you want the shine to stay on the tires and not end up on your vehicle after driving, Adam's Vinyl, Rubber and Tire applied with a sponge will do just that. If you want to apply another product, go for a drive and end up cleaning it off the side of your car, I'll be happy to point you in some other products directions.

Take a quick look at these 2 products:
Application Sponges
Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detail Supplies - Detail Sponge (6)

VRT
Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detail Supplies - V.R.T Vinyl, Rubber, & Tire Dressing 16oz

If you have ANY questions, feel free to let me know

I don't like the tire shine stuff because no mater what you use it ends up turning the tires a weird brownish color.
So I like the naked tire look.

That's 'cause those products were petroleum based. ie: like vaseline

too bad tires are usually black.
if someone made colored tires that would be sick IMO.
blue, red,yellow...imagine how something like that would look, do a burnout and leave
2 red streaks! my mind goes off sometimes.
sorry for the h/j

(Found some colored scooter tires)

bfg made tires that has red lines in the tread so you could leave colored lines but gang members started to use them to make their territory and bfg pulled the tires
