Some people use vinegar mixed with water. I would try some Meguiars #80. The smallest container they sell is 32oz. It's great stuff to have especially if you have a dual action porter cable. Use that on both the paint and the windows. I've worked on a car before that was just riddled with water spots and using #80 worked out best for me.

I would definately recommend the Zaino claybar/wax kit. You can't buy it in any store so you will have to get it shipped to you. Zaino is by far the best car care product that I have EVER used. You would be AMAZED by the things that this kit can do. It will take care of those water spots no problem. Just make sure that you keep it lubricated and don't stop until the water marks are gone. Half of the time it is the lack of elbow grease that keeps the watermarks from coming off.

Edit: Here's the link to the z-18 claybar on their site.

h20 and vinegar. you have to put some muscle into though and it takes a while. this worked for me. I had BAD water spots. it took me 2 days to get them out because the process is so long but it works. when you're done, don't forget to wax the car again.

Try using a polish instead of a wax. A polish will be abraisive and should do the trick.

P&S Ultra Coat Polish is what I use.

After you get rid of the spots. Keep a good coat of hand wax on the paint. In between hand waxes I use McG's Quick Wax. Just spray it on and wipe it off, it keeps the paint looking like glass.
