Default repainting the evo eater, the car that frys sti's, you get the idea.

I am looking to repaint the whole vehicle becuase it was in an accedent and one side of the car is a different shade. this all happened before i baught it so i cant take it back and bitch at them. but the question is,

1.) if i decide to go ahead and stay with the yellow i will just paint the faces of the pannels. BUT if i change color, is there a way of painting with out have to go all out and do a fire wall build up and dropping the engine and shit? or is that the only way to go? i know the prep and paint process becuase i work in a street rod/resoration shop working on TOP dollar cars. but i was woundering if any of you found a corner to cut? its differnt when your building a turn key car and the engine is already out lol.

cant imagine the factory color is all but, 2-3 mills right?

I'd just paint it the correct color yellow. The yellow cars are fairly rair anyway.
