Default removing permanent marker

I now live in a neighborhood with wonderful little children that love being a pain in my ass. So, I woke up this morning to find permanent marker writings on the hood of my silver Neon.

Any suggestions on how to remove it? I tried windex and it didn't do anything...

Thanks...

i was thinking wax remover cause it would take off everything on the top layer of wax, but if alchaol works, then do it...

Haven't tried alcohol but, if you scribble through it with dry erase marker it will all wipe off.

can also try a bottle of Goof Off. Be care with it though as it's xylene and toluene based.

+1

We sometimes get people who use a permanant marker on the white boards at work. The dry erase marker does the trick.

I know that I have used it on the stock rims to wipe off brake dust but have not personally used it on the car paint but that makes sense.
