Default Looking for hints on Polishing Rim Lips and Exhaust Tips!

curious to know if anyone has really good tips on polishing rim "lips" and chrome exhaust tips.

Since the detailing section has been minimized I would appreciate any information you have to offer!

Products you use would be great! Any info would be helpful!

For large jobs i use a random orbital sander with a polishing pad and mothers aluminum polish. Not sure how it would work on wheels, but it works good on exhaust tips.

Not looking for a full out polish.

I just purchased new rims and would like to lip to stay clean and nicely polished.

Yet I am curious to know because someone once told (not sure if its true) that if you use a certain type of polish on the lip that the clear coat will begin to come off of the lip.

This is why I am curious to know if anyone has any good tips. I usually go to autopia.org for information but I have yet to see any polishing tips on there unless I missed it.
