if the are chrome a mild stripper should be ok, them make sure you clean them well after, if it is stainless, strip and buff.

Hey mushroom281,

I would suggest Lacker Thinner will work on a towel, after that polish the Tips and wax them!

Thanks,

Keep in mind that some prep work had to go into these before painting, so once you strip off the paint the chrome underneath may not be so pretty any more. Sort of depends on how they prepped, but you don't just shoot paint onto highly polished chrome and expect it to stick for very long.

You might want to try removing some paint from the underside first so it's inconspicuous if you don't like what you find. You can shoot some brake cleaner on a rag and remove a bit of paint that way. It won't hurt the chrome, but it does a great job of stripping paint so be careful!!
