not if its done right.... its all in the prep work!

but to anyone thats going to paint them, don't mask off the car, just remove the trim pieces, its very easy to do, just roll down the windows and get a long flat head driver...

i did it last summer...

Removing Window Trim/molding stuff???

Why paint it when you can just clean it and get it back to looking good? Just did this yesterday with the Magic Eraser. Took 10 minutes and I need to hit some spots again, but the results were very satisfying.

Im nervous about painting but I am tired of looking at gray trim.

I sprayed the the trim on my Horizon about 7 years ago using plasticote's flexible bumper paint. It still looks good!

Just wanted to say hell ya Im glad this post has influenced people to not settle for that cheap ass gray trim that seems to happen to all of our SRT's. My trim still looks good but I f'ed up my front lip when I hit a curb while I was on jury duty. I need to get my front bumper fixed but to hell with the insurance who wants me to pay the deductable and up my rates for 3 years or something like that. Anyways I will post pics of my E Blue whenever I get it fixed. The only mods I have are the Stage 1 springs which I am loving and a Magnaflow catback exhaust I got from nopi.com for $360 shipped and my K&N drop in filter. I am wanting to get either a Stage 1 or a WGA what do you guys suggest? Anyone live in the Sac Area I have seen quite a few SRTs out here.

magic eraser works good on anything I'm not surprised about this. If you have kids you lurn to love it for getting crayon off alot of strange things.

I am glad I found this post. Would this trim be covered under warranty? My warranty is up in August, and I only have 20,000 miles on the car. I would like to get this fixed if I can.

Thanks,
Kyle

The Key was mentioned above. ELBOW Grease. I've not tried the +50% Pink one but I did use the White one and it took me about 35 mins of solid working it to get form Very light grey to almost stock black. Looks Fanfuckingtastic.

Thanks to the OP, and Mr Clean.

they'll tell you that paint and molding has a 2 month warrenty or something like that. if you complain enough, they will replace it though. i went to the dealership about my b-pillar covers being dicolored and showed him 2 other base-model neons in the lot that had the same problem and he agreed to warrenty it....he tryed telling me it wasnt washed correctly and that its my fault
