I think they say that because it is abbrasive. For safety's sake, I would get some nice wide blue tape and tape off the paint below the trim.

I used the Magic Eraser the other day, and all I can say is it looks Brand New!!! 2 answer the question about why it turns gray, I guess it turns white n gray because of all the soap scum residue or maybe you used armor all to make it shine, n this actually makes it look worst after time. But I gotta say tha magic eraser did it's trick. I am thinking of putting some aerospace 303, this liquid is specifically made for rubber or plastic pieces that have to endure UV rays and sun all day long. But I have to order this online, I can't seem to find it in any supermarket or carshop. Whosever idea, was to use the magiceraser on the trim ur F****** Genius!

^^^^^^

That sux, I did forget 2 mention that I used like 2 of the erasers, cause they have to different models, there is the regular one n the 50% stronger one. I bought the 50% stonger one. I took my time, and when I cleaned the trim everytime I passed the eraser I got a small plastic brush or toothbrush n scrubbed the trim in between swipes w/ the eraser. I used 2 of those erasers, n when I was done, the erasers were pitch black, and shribbled down to nothing. But as I said in my earlier post I really want to put Aerospace 303 liquid, this will re-new the trim.(!!NOT ARMOR ALL!!!)
