Default Detailing Interior, Shampoo and Wash

Hey all. I bought a can of "Blue Magic, Upholstery Cleaner". Anyone heard of it. I used it on my seats and it came out great, towel I washed it with was black but the seats came out clean. However, on my front seat it left some stains. Kind of like an outlining of where I had sprayed the cleaning agent. Any idea why this happens. I'll post pics tomorrow, but some parts are lighter than others. Did I over kill it and not spray enough or did I not coat the entire seat evenly? Should I redo the entire seat again? This problem didn't happen anywhere else I used to Blue Magic.

On a second note, what kind of upholstery cleaner or interior shampoo detailing products would you all recommend?

I like 3M products, gotta love the inventors of scotch guard. I've used the blue magic stuff, I thought it worked very well. Did you vacuum before shampooing?

Here's what I do:

1. vacuum
2. shampoo and work the foam into the seats w/ the provided brush or something like it.
3. Let dry over night
4. vacuum again.

I've always been happy w/ my results.

AS the cans always say "test an inconspicuos area first" and always use a clean white cloth when using any type of chemical.
