Default Detailed my Camaro

It took me 2 days to do this shit.

Wash w/ Zaino car wash and simple green poured in (only for silver/pewter cars)

Meguires Clay

Flex Rotary, Orange Pad
Meguires M105

Flex Rotary, White Pad
Meguires M205

Porter Cable, Black Pad
Zaino Z2

By Hand
Pinacle Souvern (it's late I dunno if I spelled that right).

None of these pics are edited. I snapped them 5 minutes ago and I'm pretty proud of myself. My car is beat. It's 10 years old and I drove it on 495/295 every day to NSA and then 150 miles to Philly on the weekend.

Why souveran on a silver car? I would have used a sealant instead to give a glassy look, I use souveran on dark colors only and it really shows.

I do that too. Use a sealant underneath and a wax on top as a sacrificial layer. Some sealants don't protect as well as the old school waxes did. and then again there were that outperformed them also, just the longevity was lacking. Maybe he's trying to use up his supply to try a different product or maybe he was trying to go for a certain look. Who knows? But his finish does look niiiiice!
