My CF hood & trunk have some faded areas in them i'm guessing from being in the sun i'm not to sure is there something i can use or do to make it shine again ? wax doesn't work
Take a GOOD high speed buffer with foam pad try 3m glaze thats made to take that off then use wax and buff it off. If you have a friend at a body shop he or her will know what to do. If not its wet sand and reclear time. Be nice to have the stuff made in dry carbon fiber.
treat it like paint and if buffing dont work than a fine sand and new clear, i dont understand how this happens though mine is 2 years old and still looks new, with pittsburgh winters...

i think its the sun, its seems more damaging then salt or any other winter variable.
Its the heat raising from the engine also the sun. I dont know if these hoods are pulled from a plug(mold)with just a gel coat. If the buffing dont work let a shop wet sand 1500 grit then hit it with 3 coat of uv clear. In Az. you have to keep up on these hoods or they will go to shit real fast. I seen a few going to crap here.
