Default Carbon fiber products

I looked in the forum for this but could not find it, if i overpassed it sorry. I had a custom carbon fiber hood and I got white spots on the carbon fiber I tried clay bar, waxing and nothing worked. It looked cloudy and really ugly, but I also found out that the body shop never cleard it so that maybe why it looks this way. NEways I am getting a VIS CF hood and will clear it with two coats this time. But my question is what do guys do to keep up with the hood? what products do u use on it? Do u wax once a month, every other month or what? I really do not want to run into this problem so if you guys can post what u do to clean your cf products. Thanks

I waxed mine every week when I wash it. Dont know if you need to be that picky but....waxing every two weeks should help protect it.

I came across this video on youtube (YouTube - How to remove oxidation from a carbon fiber hood) and tried this product on my carbon fiber wing. It's called system one. I got the pro kit and then waxed the wing and it has looked better than new since!

system one pro kit

I bet the company that made your hood used a shitty epoxy and a gel coat with no UV protectant.
