Default black gunk/oil on exhuast tips

i went to clean my exhuast tips this morning since they were black....i cleaned them took awhile but there shiny again somewhat...my questions is...is there any product out that can help with the black gunk or is there soemthing wrong with my exhuast thats putting that sh** on thier.

I clean them with metal polish...comes right off

To get the black tar spots off use a 00 Steel wool and Scuff It by 3m innovations take that stuff of with ease. Good luck man

This is normal. Don't worry about it, just wipe em off with every wash so it won't bake on. Little polish wouldn't hurt though!

also is it normal to have some exhuast smoke come out the pipes? i was driving to work and a co-worker noticed some black smoke coming out the exhuast..is this normal too. i dont know if my exhuast is stock or if the original owner put custom exhuast on it only had the car for 2 weeks.
