My car has a passenger side wheel bearing going and I was going to swap in a new hub. The donor vehicle only has the drivers side. Can I use the drivers side hub on the passenger side or are they side specific?

you are talking about the piece that goes into the center of the bearing (not side-specific), not the knuckle that holds the bearing and is definitely side-specific...
