Default What is the T to the brake booster for ?

I notice something while I was doing a bit of cleanup in my vac lines.

The line that goes from the TB to the brake booster has a green T in it, the other end of the T coming from the turbo housing.

How's that ? Isn't the brake booster vacuum assisted ?

Why is there a line going to the turbo ?

Like: Turbo -> T -> Brake booster
|_> TB

???

I read that is it a venturi thing that provides vaccum even under boost to some of the evap canisters and pollution thing. Might as well leave it alone for now.
